This soft padded cushion with pockets to contain cool packs is a thoughtful gift for post double mastectomy, lumpectomy, breast or top surgery. It can also double as a comfy pillow for treatments or to keep the seat belt away from op site during travel. All listed cushions are sewn up to the stage to have the filling inserted and stitched up. So your choice can be posted at the earliest opportunity after ordering.
The cushion is made from quality cotton and has been lightly stuffed with polyester filling. Too much filling can be uncomfortable. The U shapes fit under armpits to help keep arms from rubbing or resting on scars and sore spots.
It has 2 oblong horizontal pockets which perfectly fit the included oblong cool packs. 2 re-usable hot /cool packs are included in the purchase as the cooling can be helpful on hot, healing scars and swelling. Each cool pack measures at least 23cm x 13cm (9 inches by 5 inches.)
Extra set of 2 cool packs may be purchased.
Size is approximately - 97cm long x 33cm high ( 38 inches by 13 inches)
Do not use on open wounds.

The pillow was fantastic. Purchased it for my mum after her breast cancer surgery and it ended up being the most useful item. It helped support her while recovering and made going places in the car easier as it protected her from the seatbelt which would otherwise rub against her and add unwanted pressure. Plus the print was gorgeous and it was made beautifully.

Carolyn was very prompt and helpful with the ordering process after an error on my part, and even after the mix up, managed to send the product and have it delivered within 2 business days of the order going through. The pillow itself is brilliant. It’s just the right amount of softness, and it feels very well made. The fact that it has slips for ice/heat packs are amazing for sleeping! It has also really helped when having to travel, as it covers and protects from seatbelts. 10/10, we are so thankful for this wonderful product from Carolyn! 💜
